Preparation for the NT2 Civic Integration exams
All newcomers from outside the European Union are required to integrate if they plan to live and work in the Netherlands. Integrating involves learning the language and knowing how to
certain things are going in the Netherlands.
The integration exams consists of the following
components: Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing, KNM (Knowledge of Dutch Society)."
and ONA (Orientation to the Dutch Labor Market). For ONA, exemption can be obtained if the integration candidate has been employed for a minimum of 6 months or has owned a business for at least 6 months. If this is not the case, the integration candidate must create a portfolio themselves and have a final interview with DUO or attend an ONA course for a minimum of 64 hours and create a portfolio at a language school accredited by Blik op Werk."
This program prepares the integration candidate for the NT2 integration exam. During the placement test, we assess
together with the student their educational background, language proficiency, and availability.
This way, we determine in which group the student can make the most of the lessons. The student is then
guided by our experienced and certified teachers. The integration course consists of a language component and a component focusing on knowledge of Dutch society and Orientation to the
Dutch Labor Market. The program concludes with an exam preparation course.
The integration program lasts from 7 to a maximum of 24 months, depending on the student's learning pace, which we assess during the intake. You can choose between a basic, intermediate, or fast track program. The classes can be attended either in person or online.
The hourly rate for this program is €14,- per hour. This includes the following components: Speaking,
Writing, Reading, Listening and KNM (Knowledge of Dutch Society).
The hourly rate for the ONA course is €15,- per hour.
